Teasers!!!

So busy, but nothing going on
I can't really tell a difference in the pictures. I think I was just really big that night we took the 32 weeks. I am bigger now...well i think. We have only about 3 and a half weeks left and I am feeling it! It does not feel good to stand or walk or move or sit or lye down or drive or move my legs. My poor feet are so swollen and don't go down like they used to at night. And the pressure!! I understand now what they were talking about. I know i am complaining. Derick is great though! He has been so good. He even wakes up with me at my "every 2hour pee" at night to help me up out of the bed.
I have started my weekly appointments too and have one next week Wednesday. This past one the midwife was like "I won't say your 1 cm, but you are close." She also said I am getting soft so that means the process has started. D-Penny is head down and I hope thinking about coming out. Her moving arounds have started to become painful too. It feels like she is getting too big for the inn. She has also been having fit of hick-ups. Those are fun. She likes to play with my bladder at times too.
Well, baby room is almost done and so are the maternity leave plans for school. Just waiting for the day to arrive..........

Some more pictures
In baby news: no news, really. I turn 8 months on Tuesday and go for another check up. I think I have started the braxton hicks contractions. Theyare only a couple times a day and don't hurt really bad yet. I just feel my uterus tighten up for a few seconds then let go. It is kind of weird thinking that my body is practicing and we will have a baby in the matter of 8 weeks, or so. Another thing I have been doing lately has been changing my mind. The things I had decided on earlier in the pregnancy I don't like any more or change what I want. Poor Derick isn't pleased. So many decisions though! I am getting the urge to nest. We got the rest of our essentials so if the baby comes now we have the big things. That makes me feel better.
Surprise Shower
This is me coming in and being surprised. The second big surprise was Derick's sister and her family came all the way from Jacksonville for the weekend. This is Natalie giving a big hug.
Here are some people pictures. We had both boys and girls at the party. The boys kind of seperated themselves to the porch, but I think they had fun too.
This was a chair from church that I used to sit in when I was little. And so did my mom, and dad, and step dad, and some of my aunts and uncles too. They are replacing them now and members are painting the old ones. My Nama got it for us. We got so many great things!! I will say thank you now to everyone, but expect a formal thank yous in the mail soon...well my soon. And a special thank you to Kim for making the day so great!!
Derick's B-day
This is the spread of food and everything in the house.
I think everyone had a good time. Derick is now old and 30, but if you ask him he says he has been waiting for his 30's for a long time. He couldn't wait.

What's going on...
I got the idea of this entertainment center while shopping. I took a picture of a wine rack that was on its side. I brought it hope and asked if he could make it. He said "Yes, if I get a flatscreen to go on top." (Some how he must of known I had already been in the process of saving for it.) Needless to say got my entertainment center. He got his flat screen- which happens to be his 30th birthday present. Yes, Derick is turning 30 next week!
The same kind of story goes with the bookshelf. We were walking in Lowe's and they had this A frame bookshelf. Whitney-"Derick, I really like that." Derick-"I can make it." And so he did! I know he is done making funiture for awhile though.
Don't mess with us! So Derick and I have stepped up security around here, ever since the break-ins last month. We did get a security system installed and made a trip to the gun show for extra "protection." This is me practicing "protecting" myself. So we did realize after the fact that it was probably not the best idea to go to the range pregnant, but we did do it safely. She didn't mind the shooting as much as the Latin cover band a couple of weeks ago. She was sleeping most of the time, only when someone was shooting .357 did she move to where I could feel her.
