25 Radom things

1. I can’t spell! It is minor-ly embarrassing and major-ly annoying….even to myself. I have to spell check for everything.

2. I’m not the best at grammar and writing either.

3. I love the rain. I hate getting wet when I take time to do my hair, but I love the gloomy rainy days!

4. I think my hubby is going to be a better daddy than I will be a mommy.

5. I getting more and more nervous about starting grad school this summer. I’m just not sure I am up for it.

6. I sometimes wish I was the kind of person to just pick up and leave Fort Myers, but I don’t think that will ever happen. I like my family too much. Now if my family were to leave…..and/or we were to move near other family

7. The statistics of autism scare me, really bad. I know I can and will handle and love a child with disabilities, but I wish for a baby that is healthy and normal.

8. I wish I lived in a musical.

9. I love my man. He is so great! He stinks right now, but he is so great!

10. I like to sleep alot. It's not the baby, I have always been able to sleep more than the average person. I was hoping that it would go away in my adulthood, but that doesnt seem to be happening.

11. I am really nervous going back to work next year when school starts. I am going to be in my third trimester and trying to control intense 6th graders.

12. I am starting to hate driving! People just don’t care anymore. Well I guess that just doesn’t apply to driving.

13. I am IN LOVE with the Twilight Saga! I just spent 2 weeks of my life with my nose in the books. Yes, I read all four in two weeks. AND come to find out the author is Mormon! Who would have thunk?

14. I don’t think I am going to cry when my 8th graders leave on the last day. I will miss them, but I don’t think I will cry. Is that wrong?

15. I just realized my hubby is a big dork! He has been watching Start Track all night!

16. I am really thirsty!

17. I can’t stop thinking about Twilight! My goal is to get my mom hooked too.

18. I really don’t like the fact that I don’t have a favorite food right now. Even my old faves are not even on the list anymore. I can’t wait until I want my favorite foods again.

19. My list of summer goals is forever long. I hope I get it all done!

20. Twilight Saga is soooooo good. I told myself, “no, Im not going to read it” but then I did! I can’t believe it took me that long! It was great! Team Edward!

21. I love Lisa Frank! I just brought myself a new folder for my class I am taking this summer.

22. I hat pregnancy brain! I can’t remember anything! I can’t even find the list to remind me of the things I was supposed to remember!! OOOOOO Just found it!!!

23. I heart my cat. He can be a pain, but he can also be pretty cool.

24. I want the magic fairy to come and clean my house.

25. I love my hair right now…it is so long and pretty (when I wear it down.) Thank you baby

LOOK AT THE BABY!!!!

These were taken right at 9 weeks. It is a little BABY!! I was expecting a lima bean or a peanut. I was prepared for a blob. Not an actual BABY with a head, arms, legs, and an umbilical cord!!!! It makes it seem so unreal! I can't believe that is in my belly just floating around! Sorry for the pictures of the pictures. I was told that I can not scan them or they will turn black. Next time I will bring a disk and have them put on that. They did say everything looks good. They even told me what side I ovulated from. I thought that was cool. We heard the heart beet too! The doctor moved my due date up from Dec 17th to Dec 15th. I don’t mind. The only thing is I hope not to be in the hospital on Christmas.

This is Derick hanging out in the doctor’s office with me. He was so sweet. He did nod off for a minute while I was talking with the nurse. I think he was a bit shocked by what we women go threw for our exams. He was very brave!

The accident......

I know this is awful but Derick and I do blame this on the pregnancy. Derick and I were angry with each other and this is the consequence. I have to say though it help us get over some of the stress because we realized how stressed and dumb we were being. The car is all pretty again, but as Derick says "Why do we have to learn our lessons by our pocket book?" I said "Lucky it is money and not our health or life!"

WE'RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!

Derick and I are having a baby!!!!!!! I am about 7 weeks and counting! We are so excited! Well I am first pregnancy excited and Derick is "man" excited. Meaning it really hasn't hit him too hard yet. I actually found out on a weekend and tried to think of a cute way of telling Derick, but I knew I couldn't keep it from him for very long. He had gone to do some work that morning so I was hoping he would come home to eat some brownies he had made the night before. When he came home he was taking too long to get to the brownies so I kind of told a fib. I told him that the cat had gotten into his brownies and he need to go check it out. When he saw it he was like "what's this?" "Are you ovulating?" (I was tracking my ovulation and was using a kit prior to this) "No" "A pregnancy test?" "Yes." "Does it say no?" "No." Well you get the picture. It was cute. We decided not to tell anyone until I went to I went to the doctor. I am due Dec 17th ish and I go back on the 12th to get the first ultrasound. I am so psyched!!

I do tell you what, I am not sure why (at the moment) that women do this more than once. The nausea and smells are not fun! My stomach turning and my nose both turned on this weekend. The fatigue came a couple of weeks ago. I do have to say that I think I am very lucky because my friends that have been pregnant recently have been sick for months straight and I have been feeling okay up till this point. I have vomited yet, but I do feel like I need to a lot. Anyways....we are stoked! I will post the pictures when I get them.

Cute kid story

Funny story! One of my students who is severely language delayed, comes to my desk from his computer signing “Baby, no baby, no, computer, baby no.” So I check what he was on and it was baby’s cribs. He was like “Baby no; house, baby no! House!” He wanted MTV Cribs to look at the famous people’s houses and all he was getting on the computer were baby cribs. I had to explain the words mean different things. It was quite funny!

Spring Break Project

During spring break we were able to wallpaper the whole kitchen! It was a project I was suppose to do alone, but Derick was great about helping me! I really appreciated it. I know it wouldn't have turned out so well with out him! This is the madness the kitchen was in for a couple of weeks.

Derick was even better when he was made to paint the kitchen for me. I found out the weekend I was starting to paint that I was pregnant so he had to do the job for me. I was a bit disappointed because I was looking forward to that part.

Here is the finished project. I think he did a great job! It is now on to the 80's style dome fluorescent lighting thing! Derick is working on it now. Soon it will be done and we will have a fan and no more blinking, or never turning on until two hours later lights. I am very excited!

Well let me see....since I gave up TV for Lent. I am trying to better myself and be closer to God, but the problem is I got rid of TV and inherited my husband and sleep. Yes, spending time with my husband has been wonderful and so has the sleep (at 9pm we are bored, I go to bed and read, Derick will watch TV or play video games,) I have not devoted that time to God.
